Displaying your events and campaigns through the medium of print is a highly effective, proven way to engage with key audiences. Print offers your audience the chance to take the time to see, read and consider what you are offering and encourages repeat visitors.

London Calling across the past 30 years has developed extensive and meticulously researched print distribution networks that display your materials in high profile and high footfall arts and leisure venues throughout the country.

London Calling Networks

Within London we offer a selection of core thematic network runs that are designed to target specific audiences relevant to your campaign. These include:

Contemporary Culture | Classical | City Culture | Corporate London | Families | Family Holidays | Urban Creativity | Heart of London | West Life | London Villages (Regional) | Museums and Heritage | Southbank and Bankside | Traditional Tourist | Contemporary Tourist | Total London (200 venues across the capital)

Each run is compiled of 50-80 key venues, including coveted spaces such as Tate, V&A, National Gallery, Museum of London and many more! Each venue on the Networks is set up with London Calling racks which are serviced every 2 weeks.

Neighbourhood Runs:

Our Neighbourhood Runs target specific geographical areas, helping you to promote your campaign to key local hotspots throughout London. We help you choose your neighbourhood areas and provide recommendations in terms of where your print should be displayed, in order to achieve optimal engagement. Neighbourhoods are compiled of 40-50 key venues within a local area and each venue contains a regularly serviced London Calling Rack or Holder. Venues include restaurants, cafes, gastro pubs, libraries, community centres and arts venues.

Our top Neighbourhood Runs include:

Clapham/Battersea/Wandsworth | Camden | Hampstead & Highgate | Highbury & Islington | Richmond & Kew | Wimbledon | Fulham/Putney/Barnes | Greenwich & Blackheath | Chiswick/Ealing/Acton | Hammersmith & Shepherd’s Bush | Hoxton & Shoreditch | Notting Hill | Stoke Newington/ Hackney/ Dalston | Teddington & Twickenham | Kingston & Thames Ditton

Culture Segments and Special Runs:

Using Morris Hargreaves Macintyre’s Culture Segments we have created bespoke runs compiled of London Calling exclusive venues that fit the brief of each audience segment. These runs ensure you are targeting audiences relevant to your audience profiling and research.

Our Special Runs are expertly researched lists that ensure you can target very specific audiences relevant to your brief. They are compiled of 40 venues that either contain a London Calling rack or, for more specific lists, will display your print solo in a London Calling holder. From those interested in specific activities or arts forms (our crafts, design, literary, folk music and sports runs are good examples!) to specific groups of people (french, traditional woman, elderly, GP waiting rooms, yummy mummies, students) we can cater for almost any brief to ensure your print is reaching the right person.

Additional Print Display Services:

Posters

Targeting areas and venues of your choice, our display coordinators ensure that your posters are displayed in prime locations. We can display posters in a mixture of urban or rural areas, targeting venues relevant to your audiences.

Direct Handouts

Our friendly and outgoing London Calling handout staff can target key areas and events visited by your target audience. We focus on hotspots such as high streets and stations as well as flyering at the entrances and exits of specific shows and events that you feel have a similar demographic. Our team is dedicated to getting your message across and can wear branded clothing if required. Pre-briefed on your show, event or venue, our team is prepared to answer questions and relay further information.

Door Drops

Using Audience Spectrum – a tool owned by our partners at The Audience Agency – our research team are able to segment the whole UK population by their attitudes towards culture and by what they like to see and do, as well as determine which post-codes have the highest saturation of your key demographic. We then use this research to suggest how much print and where you should be distributing so our door drop team can place your print directly into the homes of those most suited to your campaign. Alternatively, we can do standard door dropping based on your specific postcode requests.

Culture Packs

Our Culture Packs are transparent envelopes with LondonCalling.com branding that include a variety of print and postcards from theatres, galleries, museums and arts centres. Our London Calling staff hand these out directly across big, high footfall events across the country. Previous packs include Chelsea Flower Show, London Primary Schools and Festival Southbank.
